EXPERIENCE OFF-PISTE ON SWEDEN’S HIGHEST PEAK
South of Niehku Mountain Villa is Kebnekaise, Sweden’s highest peak, which rises some 2,100 metres above sea level. Our helicopters whisk you away to one of the country’s most inaccessible alpine areas, with steep mountains and mighty glaciers perfect for off-piste skiing. The average vertical drop is between 500 and 900 metres, but the longest runs we can choose from offers up to 1450 metres.

On a typical day’s skiing we’ll tackle eight to twelve runs, sometimes more, depending on the snow and weather conditions. During your day on the slopes you’ll enjoy a hot lunch prepared at Niehku, and the package also includes snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to boost your energy for the next run. We ski in small groups of four to five skiers or snowboarders plus a guide. There are never more than two groups sharing a helicopter. All guides are IFMGA-certified with many years of heliskiing experience.

The areas around Niehku and Riksgränsen offer many wonderful hiking experiences. Our helicopter will take you to remote, rarely visited sites deep in the heart of this magical mountain world. No matter how long or advanced the hikes are, you need to be in good shape and be able to hike for a number of hours across sometimes unpaved terrain. It goes without saying that our experienced guides will be with you every step of the way.
